I am staying in a snug little room in an inn on the outskirts of Lethran, I am going to be here a day or two so it seemed like a good idea to have a base.

I have quite a list of people to catch up with here, I need to visit the Skein-Wrights and see if they have any idea what’s causing the comms problems and information blips at home.
I also want to speak with the town elder and archivist to see if they might know where to go or who to talk to about the geese and glint-wings.
At some point to speak to someone at the river front about all the boats.
Before any of that though, I decided to take my breakfast to the Crossing Circle and see what was happening.
It’s usually a bustling sort of place with travellers and locals mingling and exchanging stories and discussing their everyday lives Today was not so very different on the surface, but it felt a little strange to me.

Like when I was on the road, there are fewer travellers, the place seems a little stiller, the conversations were a little more hushed. It was nothing overt, people were still friendly and I had some interesting chats.
Particularly interesting was the conversation I had with Owen and Tian, two of the road wardens around these parts. They say they have been seeing reports from surrounding villages about their pathways being blocked by fallen trees or rocks. These things are not unheard of, but are unusual, especially at this time of year.
The other interesting thing I heard was a discussion with one of the storekeeps on the circle, they heard from their delivery person that the signpost was back in place on the road and are hoping that the deliveries will start to pick up again now.
I am glad I fixed it but I do wonder what is causing the problem!
