I made it to Lethran. I have always liked visiting here, it has a different sort of beauty to the wild places between here and Bern. It’s a place I have visited on and off over the years, so arriving was like meeting a friend I haven’t seen for ages!

It always feels down to earth here and has managed to stay cosy.
When I awoke this morning, my little hoop-weasel friend was still around, he pattered along near me for most of the day, but the Rumblers on the road as we approached Lethran startled him and he rolled off back the way we came!

While I was walking, listening to the birds, it struck me that I was meeting fewer travellers on the path than I was expecting. I met one or two and saw a few rumblers over on the road, but it was definitely quiet, almost eerily so!
Once I started looking I noticed some of the signposts had fallen over and their skein links seemed to be disconnected. It’s a good thing I packed my travel tool kit, hopefully now more people will find the paths.
