Today is the first day of my journey, today I took that first step away from home. That first step into the unknown.

Not unknown roads, not yet, but this time feels different. This time I have no fixed idea about when I will be back and no real idea if I will find answers or more questions!

My first destination is Lethran, I think I told you that. it is about two days walk or about four hours by Rumbler, probably even faster if I had a Sled!

Despite this I am walking and I want to write down why, mostly so I understand it myself, and remember why when the road gets harder!

I mentioned before that we have not seen our migratory geese this year, I have also noticed other small changes in the patterns of the year. The spring flowers were early and there are a lot more Glint-Wings than I have ever seen!

There is something in all of this that makes the world feel strange, like when there is someone watching just out of sight.

It could just be that wobbly feeling you get when the wheel of the year turns but to me it feels more!

So this oddness is why I am walking, at least for now. I need to see and feel the world with my feet.
